Bella's first week at school

Bella's Daily Activity Report at Goddard:

She really gets excited about going to school and the change has not
been too overwhelming for her. They do lots of neat activities and the
classrooms are nice and bright with all new equipment.

This last week, they had their lesson plans themed around cats and
kittens. They broke down their learning in the following categories:

- LANGUAGE ARTS: Today we read a book about kittens.
- COGNITIVE SKILLS/MATH: We had fun counting kittens.
- CREATIVE ART: We made our cat a beautiful patterned coat.
- MUSIC/MOVEMENT: Today we had a good time playing instruments to
Alley cat.
- MOTOR SKILLS: Today we crawled like kittens.
- SCIENCE/NATURE STUDY: Today we explored cat parts.
- SOCIAL SCIENCE: Today we took our cat to the vet.
- COMPUTER LAB: Today we played a game with cats in it.
- MEMORABLE MOMENT: Bella had fun playing "Take the kitten to the Vet!"

They are a fairly new school, so there are things that I feel are not
as good as MUMCDC, like making sure all the kids wash their hands
before they start the day and when the leave.
